Sabrina Elddine, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience working in community mental health clinics, the school system, inpatient hospitalization, and foster care. My experience with diverse clientele has provided me with a toolbox of therapeutic techniques that are client-centered and mindful of your ever-changing wants and needs. I strive to create a space that is free of judgment and allows for personal exploration, insight, and growth. You will always feel like you are in control of your own change process, with me alongside you for support.
As a child of immigrants, I learned from an early age that communication goes beyond just the spoken word and that a lot can be said in a look, a posture, or a gesture. It’s because of that experience that I learned how to listen for the messages that are unspoken – the non-verbals. My therapeutic approach incorporates wholly listening to the entire person and providing space for all parts to be heard and feel seen.
I have been trained in Trauma Focused Yoga for Therapists, Attachment, Hakomi, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Bowen Family Systems Therapy and continue to participate in new trainings on a regular basis. I specialize in working with teens, adults (18+), and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and life transitions.
I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Austin to complete both a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree at The University of Texas at Austin. The sunshine, barbecue, and friendly faces have contributed to calling Austin “home.” When not working, I enjoy the beautiful outdoors, reading, and playing with my French Bulldog.
