I received my BA in Psychology from Rosemont College. After graduation, and much personal travel, I decided to plant some roots here in Austin. I absolutely love this city! I am currently enrolled in Northwestern University’s Counseling (LPC) program with an expected graduation date of December 2017. My working experience includes hospice care, inpatient psychiatric care, and outpatient partial hospitalization group therapy. While working with hospice, I found a deep appreciation for the grieving process and how those life events change an entire family dynamic. As a mental health technician at a psychiatric hospital, I lead community groups, assisted in milieu management, and provided direct patient supervision.
I strive to meet each individual where they are in their personal journey. We are a sum of our parts, and should be treated as such! I implement a holistic approach with a focus in being present and mindful of our here and now.
