Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board-approved Supervisor
Your life has value and worth, but sometimes life’s challenges make it hard to experience what this fully means for yourself and those you love. I provide a safe, compassionate space for you to tackle challenges in your life holding you back or keeping you frozen. Sometimes the problems in our lives can feel like a bungee cord wrapped around our waist. We start to take steps forward and then get pulled back, smacking our face on the ground. Therapy is a place unwind that bungee cord and begin stepping forward without being pulled back down.
I’ve provided person-centered therapy to individuals and families for over ten years as a Licensed Clinical Social Workerin community-based settings and institutional settings. I received my MSSW from the University of Texas at Austin. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy. In therapy we will work together to explore what is holding you back and discover how to move forward in your life. Recovery and healing is possible.
I have worked extensively with teens and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, chronic health conditions, and people in major life transitions such as entering young adulthood and older adulthood.
