We can’t get around suffering sometimes in this life, but we can learn to live with dignity and grace, and we can know joy. Whether you are having questions of a spiritual nature, feeling stuck in your life, or needing to be free of deep and abiding pain, I stand ready to walk with you on the path of healing. In this journey I am a guide and witness; a strong and stable source of curiosity and compassion. I can say this with confidence because I have made this journey myself.

My own experience with therapy helped me to understand that human beings are not machines that break and need to be fixed. They are beings that course correct; they mold and are moulded by their environment. These course corrections may become obsolete or they may create more difficulties that need attention so that we may flourish. I endeavor to remove barriers to what you could call love. By doing this we are allowed to become who we are meant to be.

My idea of health and wholeness includes body, mind, and spirit. I am a long time meditator and have taught mindfulness in hospital and university settings. I use awareness practices to facilitate the healing process. My therapeutic approach is experiential, relational, and warm.

As human beings we thrive when we are connected to our true self, other people, and the natural world of which we are a part. My overarching goal is to help you restore this connection and realize your birthright – a deep sense of belonging and lasting wellness.
