Are you feeling disconnected, like you don’t quite fit in? Maybe your worries are too much to bear alone and you need help thinking things through? I can listen and help guide you in the right direction.
I’ve always enjoyed helping others to find practical solutions to their problems. Whether you are looking for brief therapy to sort out areas of concern or if you want to build a long term support system with a therapist, I’m here to help.
About me: I grew up in the Northeast and moved to Austin in 2008. I pursued a Counseling degree at St. Edward’s University in 2013. My experience includes counseling Teens & Adults in an acute care setting, introducing ways to relieve depression, anxiety and debilitating stress during individual and group therapy. Before deciding to go back to school for Counseling, I worked in Corporate America for 9+ years, I understand the struggles and burn out that can be felt in a high stress work environment.
I specialize in helping folks struggling with adulting, successfully transplanting to Austin and with overall feelings of being different than the rest, perhaps feeling like a social misfit. Special interests also include helping to navigate life after a diagnosis of PCOS, PMDD or IBS, the child free/cat lady life and being a person of size. LGBTQIA family always welcome.
Life can be hard at times, don’t go it alone! Call to schedule an appointment to see me today!
