Are you feeling disconnected from your life purpose? Are you struggling with a lack of self esteem, negative self talk, or debilitating thoughts, fears, or emotional pain? As your therapist, I will be a gentle and supportive presence to guide you into deeper self knowledge and healing. My therapeutic approach is influenced by my perspective as a musician and creative person, and I utilize techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and narrative therapy. I hold a safe container where insight and personal empowerment can naturally arise. Let me be a listening ear to help you untie the knots keeping you stuck in your life, so that you can thrive.
Originally from Long Island, New York, I have spent most of my adult life in Austin. As a collegiate gymnast at Penn State University I came face to face with many personal challenges that led me on my own healing journey, and ultimately, toward becoming a therapist. In 2017, I began volunteering at prisons and jails, combining elements of therapy, art and music to help women heal. Through those soul expanding and eye opening experiences I discovered my love of social work, and graduated in 2020 with my Masters degree from the University of Texas. In addition to my work at Plumeria, I work with survivors of sex trafficking. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, body image issues, self esteem, domestic violence, women’s issues, anxiety, and personality disorders.
